Stia

HISTORIC TOWN N THE NORTH OF AREZZO PROVINCE

Stia is a part of the village of Pratovecchio. In the Middle Ages, it depended on the Guidi Counts’ power, who built their fortress upon the hill named Porciano. In the XX century, Stia had its economic growth thank to the processing of Wool (Fabric of Casentino) at the Lanificio.
